Course Objectives
On completion of the half-day programme, the delegates will be able to:
- State the legal requirement affecting lifting gear and lifting machines
- Identify and use the correct methods of lifting
- Ascertain their duties and responsibilities when using mechanical handling equipment
- Prepare, select and design configurations for lifting and turning awkward loads
- Recognise the need and the requirement of a safe system of work and operate site craneage safely within their own working environment.

Anyone with a lifting and slinging certificate (within the last 5 years) which is up for renewal.
