On completion of the one-day programme, the delegates will be able to:
- State the legal requirement affecting lifting gear and lifting machines.
- Identify and use the correct methods of lifting.
- Ascertain their duties and responsibilities when using mechanical handling equipment.
- Prepare, select and design configurations for lifting and turning awkward loads.
- Recognise the need and the requirement of a safe system of work and operate site craneage safely within their own working environment.
